Returns + Shipping policy
Shipping is $59 per order in Melbourne Metro.
Outside Melbourne metro shipping costs:
- Shipping cost is not calculated until checkout because you get the cheapest rate when calculating for your total order rather than for individual items. (if you like you can use 10% of the purchase price as a rule of thumb to estimate shipping costs as you are browsing and adding to the cart.) Outside metro areas please message us for a quote based on your location and we will find a carrier with competitive rates in your area.
- You are also welcome to pick up yourself or arrange your own courier for free. These options are available at check out.
- We will contact you within 24 hours of your order to check everything is ok and let you know when to expect your delivery.
- Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra - 2-3 business days.
- Brisbane - 3-4 business days
- Adelaide - 4-6 business days
- Perth - 5-7 business days
- All other areas - between 5-10 business days
Let us know if you need same day delivery in Melbourne and if we can, we will.
If you decide to cancel your order before it is sent to you, you will receive a full refund.
If you have a change of heart within 7 days of receiving your goods, please return the product to us in original condition at your cost for a full refund minus any delivery charges.
Faulty or damaged goods:
If an item is faulty or damaged on arrival please advise us immediately via email with images to confirm the nature of the fault or damage.
We will offer a specific solution based on the nature of the fault or damage which may be:
1. Immediately send you the required spare parts at no charge.
2. Advise how a superficial problem may be repaired and offer a partial refund to compensate for your inconvenience.
3. Send a replacement product to you as soon as available. Please note that the faulty product must be returned to Ancient&Modern at your cost prior to us sending a replacement.
4. If the fault cannot be repaired or solved with a spare part, and no replacements are available within 3 weeks, we will offer you a full refund, or store credit should you so choose. Please note that the faulty product must be returned to Ancient&Modern at your cost prior to us providing the refund or store credit.
Additionally, all products sold in Australia are covered by Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
